The Next morning, it's finally a day of Mehendi and sangeet. Both places were already blooming with laughter and happiness.
Evev the birds were chirping differently today, as if they too were enjoying this day.
At both the places everybody woke up early in the morning, because they have to do lot's of preparations.
At Pratapgad
Ekansh is laying on his bed, his eyes fixed on the window. He often found peace in the beauty of nature, but today, even that comfort seems far away. His heart is restless, searching for something it could not find.
Suddenly, he heared, cheerful sound of his little princess and Prem.
"Bhaiii saa," Prisha shouted happily while running toward Ekansh.
Ekansh sat up on the bed and asked confusely, "what happened? why you both are shouting like this?"
"Bhai sa, today is your Mehendi and tomorrow is your wedding, so we are very excited for today and tomorrow," prisha replied with excitement.
"Finally, tomorrow we will meet our bhabhi sa again," Prem also said excitedly.
"You know, bhai sa, bhabhi sa is too beautiful like a goddess. she is loving and kind like you, She also treats us the same way you do," Prisha said with a smile.
"We love you and our bhabhi sa so much," both said together joyfully.
"Bhai sa, bhabhi sa is not only beautiful but she is also intelligent and strong. She even knows many types of sword fighting," Prem said with smile.
Ekansh silently listened to everything. Then they heard thier mother's voice, "you all are here, what's going on? She asked happily, as she entered the room with Ekansh's aunty.
"Yes, tell us too," his aunty asked with curiosity.
"Maa sa ,Chachi maa, we were just talking about bhabhi sa," prisha replied.
"O, really," both ladies shouted joyfully.
Both are in disbelieve that Ekansh is listening everything carefully about Siya without getting angry, and even he is not stopping them.
"You know, Ekansh, She is a very pure soul like a blessing of temple," his aunty said while Smilling.
"O mandir ki diya ke tarah prakasit hai, jo kisi bhi andhere se lar sakta hai," his mother said with teary eyes.
She is Hopping, may be one day Siya will remove all darkness from Ekansh's life, and he will be again normal like little Ekansh.
("She is bright like a temple lamp, which can fight from any darkness" his mother said. )
"Siya is a brave warrior who can conquer the whole world," his father said as entered the room with Ekansh's uncle.
"Siya bahut pyari hai jo apne pyer se kisi ka bhi dil jit sakti hai," his uncle added.
(Siya is very lovely, so she can win anybody's heart with her love).
"Ek mulakat me usne hamare pure pariwar ko pagal kar diya hai jab yaha aayegi tab kiya hoga," Ekansh said in his mind.
(Miss Siya has driven my whole family crazy in one meeting. What will happen, when will she come here," Ekansh said in his mind.)
"Why, you all are telling me all this about her," Ekansh said firmly.
"Siya aapki hone wali patni hai to aapko na bataye to kise batate uske bare me," his mother said in same tone.
(Siya is your future wife, so if we don't tell you about her then who will we tell?)
"O sirf aap logo ki hone wali bahu hai, hamari kuchh nahi lagti," Ekansh said straightly.
(She is just your future daughter-in-law, she is nothing to me,")
"I don't want to discuss the same topic again. This is your outfit for today's mehndi function, come in the hall at evening," his mother said more like a order.
"Ham nahi aayenge," Ekansh replied.
(I will not come)
"Hum intijar karenge," his mother replied in same tone.
(We will wait)
"Let's go everybody, lot's of preparations have pending," his mother said to everybody, and then they all left.
Ekansh called one man, and he ordered, "inform Abhimanyu to be present in sturdy room." Then Ekansh left to take bath.
Meanwhile, in Sitapur,
Siya and her entire family gathered in their home temple for the pooja and pre-wedding rituals.
Siya was dressed in maroon lenhga, adorned with jewelry and light, elegant makeup that enhanced her natural beauty.
"Siya ab apne hath ko es haldi ke ghol me daliye, aur apne hath ke chhap mandir ke deewal aur es safed (white) vastra par lagaiye," her mother guided her.
("Siya now dip your hand in this turmeric paste and make your handprint on the temple wall and this white cloth.")
Siya followed her mother’s guidance carefully, pressing her hand into the paste and leaving delicate prints on both the temple wall and that white clothes.
Then everyone completed the pooja and remaining rituals. Everyone blessed Siya and the priest tied a red thread around Siya’s hand for good luck and protection.
"Siya, Now go to your room, and take rest for sometime, after that you have to get ready for mehndi and sangeet," Her mother said with a smile.
"Yes Siya, Otherwise you will feel tired throughout the function," her bhabhi added lovingly, placing a supportive hand on her shoulder.
Siya nodded softly and left for her room, while the rest of the family dispersed to continue with the remaining preparations.
Meanwhile, at Ekansh's study room.
Ekansh sat in his chair, one leg crossed over the other, his back resting against the headboard. Papers lay in his hand as he scanned them with a sharp gaze, his expression unreadable.
Beside him stood Abhimanyu, his posture disciplined, hands folded neatly behind his back.
"Is this the complete information about her ?" Ekansh asked, his eyes fixed on the papers.
"Yes, Rana sa, this is the complete information about Princess Siya," Abhimanyu replied respectfully.
"Rana sa, May i ask you something ?" Abhimanyu said hesitantly.
"Hmm," Ekansh hummed without looking up.
"When I first read this report, for a moment I thought it might be about that woman who fought with you that day," Abhimanyu admitted cautiously.
"I am also thinking the same," Ekansh slipped out by mistake, then quickly corrected himself. "I mean—it matches with her."
Ekansh pov
I don't know how, but this information is exactly the same with that fighter girl. Here I am reading, Princess Siya's information, but yet again and again that fighter girl's image keeps flashing in my mind.
"Finally, Rana Sa, you are getting married. Now i can also think about mine," Abhimanyu said with a shy blush. His words pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Why are you so desperate for marriage? What is attracting you this much toward marriage?" I asked, irritated by his excitement.
"My wife....," he blurted suddenly.
"R..Rana sa, I mean .... marriage is a nice thing, so I also want to experience it," he added nervously, fumbling for words.
"Rana sa, I should leave now. I have some important work," he excused himself and disappeared in a second.
He is such a crazy man, sometime, understanding him is impossible. Leave him.
I am already too stressed because of that fighter girl and siya, both are biggest problem of my life.
That fighter girl is such a problem of my life, Since the day that fighter girl crossed my path, my life has been in chaos.
I don't want to see her, but she is not going out from my mind.
I don't want to meet her, but she is coming again and again in my way.
I don't want to remember her, but things are reminding me about her.
She is a storm I should hate. A thorn I should tear away. And yet—she lingers, tightening her grip on me with every passing moment.
Tomorrow is marriage, but yet i have not gotten any way to stop this marriage.
Hamara patra (letter) milne ke badh bhi unhone koi jawab nahi diya us patra ka. Agar ye vivah ho gya to hum unhe batayenge ki hamari patni hona unke liye kisi saja se kam nahi hogi.
(Even after receiving my letter, she dared not send a reply. If this marriage takes place, she will learn that being my wife will not be a blessing—it will be her punishment)
She will regret her decision every single day.
I will not go for the mehendi, no matter what happens. If she wishes to wear my name in her mehendi, let her—but she is nothing to me. From tomorrow everything in her life will change for forever.
Tonight, I will stay in the sturdy room. I will not go anywhere.

At both places, The sun slowly sank behind the haveli walls, and the evening air buzzed with excitement. Music and laughter filled every corner as the mehndi function came alive with colors, lanterns, and the fragrance of fresh flowers.
Everyone were enjoying the function as if it were a grand festival.
At Sitapur
Siya stepped into the decorated royal hall with Divya, Daksh and Devika, her maroon lehenga now replaced by an emerald-green one, its golden embroidery glittering under the soft light. She wore matching jewelleries. Bangles jingled faintly as she walked, her shy smile lighting up her face while Her bindi glowed under the light like the moon.

Siya

Siya was too nervous because it was her mehendi function, and everyone’s attention were fixed on her. She was stressed also because tomorrow is her wedding. Tonight was the last night she had to spend with her family.
The men wore light green traditional attire—kurtas while the women were dressed in light green lehengas, adorned with matching jewelry and makeup.
The hall grew quieter for a moment as Siya walked further in, her presence drawing every pair of eyes. Relatives whispered softly, and admiring her beauty. The sound of dhol and shehnai rose again, filling the air with energy. Siya’s parents grew emotional at the sight of her. Her mother lovingly applied a small kajal dot behind her ear to protect her from the evil eye, while her father blessed her with a warm smile.
Siya's father and brother take her to the place which they have specially decurated for her. Siya’s heart fluttered as she took her place on the velvet cushion set at the center of the hall. On either side of her, Devika and Divya took their places, while her mother sat beside Devika. A little distance away, her father and Daksh settled on a sofa.
Infront of Siya, on the table, lay a plate of mehndi beautifully decorated with rose Patels.
"Aaj hum hamari Siya ko soyem mehndi lagayenge Ekansh ji ke nam ka," Divya replied.
(Today, I will personally apply mehendi to our Siya, in the name of Ekansh ji)
"Really, bhabhi sa? you are going to apply mehndi on my hand," Siya asked with a shy blush.
"Yes, my princess," divya replied warmly.
"And on other hand, i will apply mehndi to you," Devika said to Siya with a smile.
"Maa sa, pehle aap sagun ka mehndi laga dijiye phir hum mehndi lagana suru arte hai," Divya said to Siya's mother.
("Maa sa, first you apply the mehandi of Sagun, then we will start applying mehandi,")
Then Siya's mother gently applied a little dot on the center of Siya's right palm. As she did so, her emotions overwhelmed her, and tears welled up in her eyes.
Seeing her mother like that, Siya also grew emotional. She hugged her mother tightly and whispered, her voice trembling, “Maa sa, how will I live without you all? They are all so loving and sweet, but still, I won’t be able to live without you.” Tears glistened in her eyes as she spoke.
Her mother held her close, her own voice choked with emotion. “We will miss you so much, my princess. This house will feel so silent after you leave.”
“Yes, Siya… even we won’t be able to live without you,” Divya added softly, hugging her from the other side.
"Ek na ek din to beti ko bida karna hi parta hai," her father said with heavy hearted. He was also feeling to cry while hugging her daughter but he cannot do that. He has to be strong for now.
"Now, stop crying, today is the day to be happy," her brother added with warm smile, trying to lighten the moment, but even he is also trying to hide his emotion and tears.
Then, brushing away her tears, Siya's mother cupped Siya’s face and forced a smile. “Now stop crying, my little princess. Today is meant to be a day of happiness.”
"Hame bahut jada tang kar liya ab jao apne sarural aur Ekansh ko tang karo jintna ma kare. Baki sab hum sambhal lenge," Daksh said while laughing, and giving hifi to siya.
(You have troubled us enough. Now go and trouble your Ekansh as much as you want. I will take care of the rest.")
"Whenever, I feel like it, I will come to trouble you all," Siya replied excitedly.
Then Devika and Divya began applying the designs with steady hands. And her father and Daksh again took their place on sofa.
All around them, people sang traditional mehndi songs, some danced joyfully, and others busied themselves with applying mehndi to each other, filling the hall with laughter and celebration.
"Aaj Ekansh ji ke nam ka mehndi laga hai, kal aap unki ho jayengi aur parso to o aapko puri jarah aapna bana lenge," Siya's bhabhi teased her, her eyes twinkling mischievously.
("Today, I have applied mehendi in the name of Ekansh ji, tomorrow you will be his and the day after tomorrow he will make you completely his.)
After hearing this, Siya’s cheeks flushed crimson, then she said, "bhabhi sa hum aapke tarah apni sohagrat ke liye utable nahi hai. Hum to kuchh alag karenge."
("Bhabhi, I am not impatient for my wedding night like you. I will do something different.")
"Dekhte hai," Devika taunted playfully, making Siya blush even more.
(Let see)
"Siya beta, come dance with us! After all, you are the bride. You should enjoy every function," one of the ladies called out.
"Yes, Siya let's go dance," Divya added with excitement.
"No, bhabhi sa, i am feeling shy," Siya replied in childish tone.
But Devika and Divya didn’t let her escape so easily. They took her by the hands and pulled her to the center of the hall. Soon, the three of them were laughing and dancing, their steps falling in rhythm with the music, filling the room with joy.
They were dancing on this song.
mehndi laga ke rakhna
Doli saja ke rakhna
Mehndi laga ke rakhna
Doli saja ke rakhna
The girls raised their hands gracefully, flexing their wrists upward while swaying their waists in perfect rhythm. Laughter echoed as the teasing voices grew louder.
Lene tujhe o gori
Aayenge tere sajna
Mehndi laga ke rakhna
Doli saja ke rakhna
Siya suddenly stopped, her face flushing deep red as everyone broke into laughter and teasing glances.
O sahra saja ke rakhna
Chehra chhupa ke rakhna
Ye dil ki baat apne
Dil mein daba ke rakhna
Sahra saja ke rakhna
Chehra chhupa ke rakhna
The music pulled her back. This time Siya let go of her shyness and began to dance freely, her bangles jingling as she twirled. Now, Siya was dancing without any care. Daksh and Siya’s parents also join them, and the whole family surrounded her. She were enjoying, laughing and dancing like there is no tomorrow, and her whole family watching her with big smile, and they were also dancing.
Mehndi laga ke rakhna
Doli saja ke rakhna
Ud udke teri zulfein
Karti hain kya ishaare
Dil thaamke khade hain
Aashik sabhi kanware
Daksh leaned closer to Divya, singing the lines with playful mischief. They both burst into laughter as they danced together, stealing glances like children caught in mischief.
Chhup jaayein saari kudiyaan
Ghar mein sharamke maare
Gaavo mein aa gaye hain
Paagal shehar ke saare
Divya flipped her hair dramatically, replying to Daksh with mock pride, which only made everyone laugh harder.
Nazrein jhuka ke rakhna
Daaman bacha ke rakhna
Nazrein jhuka ke rakhna
Daaman bacha ke rakhna
Lene tujhe o gori
Aayenge tere sajna
Soon Siya’s mother took the center, singing as she danced with her daughter, her face glowing with happiness.
Mehndi laga ke rakhna
Doli saja ke rakhna
Sahra saja ke rakhna
Chehra chhupa ke rakhna
Main ek jawaan ladka
Tu ek haseen ladki
Ye dil machal gaya to
Mera kusoor kya hai
Rakhna tha dil pe
Kaabu ye husn to hai jaadu
Jaadu hi chal gaya to
Mera kusoor kya hai
Rasta hamara takna
Darwaaza khula rakhna
Rasta hamara takna
Darwaaza khula rakhna
Lene tujhe o gori
Aayenge tere sajna
Siya’s father joined in, singing the next verse while starring at Siya’s mother. Her mother’s cheeks flushed red as she tried to hide her smile, while the crowd clapped and cheered. Siya, Daksh, Divya and Devika burst into laughter, watching the innocent romance of their parents.
Kuchh aur ab na kehna
Ye dil ki baat apne
Dil mein dabake rakhna
Mehndi laga ke rakhna
Doli saja ke rakhna
Sahra saja ke rakhna
Chehra chhupa ke rakhna
Shava shava..oye..oye..oye
Her mother replied while blushed even harder, covering her face with both palms as everyone cheered louder.
"Maa sa, aap abhi itna sarma rhi hai to aap apne sadi me kitna sarmai hongi," Siya teased, wrapping her arms around her mother lovingly.
("“Maa sa, if you are blushing so much right now, then how shy you must have been at your own wedding!” Siya teased, wrapping her arms around her mother lovingly.)
The music shifted into a new song, and once again the entire hall filled with dancing, laughter, and the sound of joy echoing into the night.
Koi rok sake to rok le main naachati
Chhan chhan chhan chhan chhan
Paalki mein ho ke savaar chali re
Main to apane saajan ke dwaar chali re
Paalki mein ho ke savaar chali re
Mushkil se maine ye din nikaale (x2)
Chalte tej chal tu o gaadi waale
Mann mein lagi hai aisi lagan
Aisi lagan haay aisi lagan
Hoke main badi bekaraar chali re (x2)
Main to apane saajan ke dwaar chali re
Paalki mein ho ke savaar chali re
Main to apane saajan ke dwaar chali re
Ho jaaungi main jal jal ke mitti
Maine piya ko likh di hai chitthi (x2)
Tu na a tu na a main a rahi hoon
Sajan sajan sajan.
Kar kar ke main intezaar chali re (x2)
Main to apane saajan ke dwaar chali re
Paalki mein ho ke savaar chali re
Main to apane saajan ke dwaar chali re
Ye sona ye chaandi ye heere ye moti
Ho sainya bina sainya bina sab kuch hai
Naam ka naam ka naam ka naam ka naam ka
Ye mera joban joban joban
Ye mera joban kis kaam ka kis kaam ka
Ghoonghat mein jale
Kab tak birahan birahan birahan
Main sar se chunari utaar chali re (x2)
Main to apane saajan ke dwaar chali re
Koi rok sake to rok le main naachati
Chhan chhan chhan chhan chhan

Other side, pratapgad.
In the royal hall, everybody were dancing, laughing and enjoying mehndi function, but Ekansh's entire family was sad because Ekansh had not come for function.
"Bhabhi sa intijar mat kijiye Ekansh ne kaha yha na ki o nahi aayenge to o nahi ayega," Ekansh's aunty said sadly.
(“Bhabhi sa, don’t wait for him. Ekansh has said if he decides not to come, then he will not come,” Ekansh’s aunt said sadly.)
"Hamara man kahta hai ki Ekansh aayenge," Ekansh's mother replied heavy hearted.
(“My heart says that Ekansh will come,” his mother replied, heavy-hearted.)
"I am not feeling happy without Bhai sa. Bhai saa will come to the wedding tomorrow, right?" Prisha asked to prem while making a Pout sadly.
"Yes, of course he will come tomorrow. How will bhai sa's marriage happen without Bhai saa? You Fool" prem said lightly tapping her head.
Prisha had applied a beautiful design of mehndi on both her hands.
Suddenly, she shouted in excitement, “Bhai sa!” while looking toward the door of the hall.
Everyone turned their gaze in that direction.
"Hum ne kaha tha na o aayega," Ekansh's mother said happily with teary eyes.
(“Didn’t I tell you he would come?” Ekansh’s mother said happily, her eyes brimming with tears.)
"Yes bhabhi saa," his aunty replied with smile.
When Ekansh entered the hall, his entire family rushed to him with joy. Prisha and Prem hugged him excitedly.
Everybody greeted him, and he also greeted everybody.

Ekansh’s outfit
"Ekansh come sit here," his mother called gently, pointing to the grand, decorated chair placed at the very center of the hall.
But Ekansh walked past it without a word. Instead, he took a seat on a simple chair at the side of the hall. His expression was cold, unreadable, as though no one in the world could guess what storm might be raging inside his mind.
"Atleast he has come, now he may sit whenever he wished ," his mother wishperd with warm smile.
Around them, the Mehndi celebration carried on. Music and laughter filled the royal hall, and women painted their hands with intricate designs of henna.
"Bhai sa, now let's go to dance," prisha said to prem excitedly.
Ok, prem, replied, and both left to dance with everybody.
Ekansh pov
I wasn't supposed to come but someone brought me here, and I hate that someone very much.
I didn't even realize, when I fell asleep, sitting on the chair in the study room.
That someone is non other than that fighter girl.
Once again, I saw that Fighter girl in my dream.
She was mocking me, saying I am running away from the situation.
"If you are not even capable to handling the situations of your life, then how will you handle me and my sword. haa," she was saying in full anger while showing her sword.
She dare to mock me. She dare to raise her sword on me. She was challenging me that i cannot face the situation.
But I am not weak. I do not run away from any challenge, I can face any challenge. I am a king. I am a great Warrior, so i came here to prove myself.
Bandh mutthi mein dil ko
Chupaye baithe hain
Hai bahana ke mehndi
Lagaye baithe hain
Mehndi ha ha mehndi
Suddenly this line of the song caught my attention, on which everybody is dancing. This line felt like it is written for me, because it mirrors my reality.
The song echoed through the hall, its words piercing straight into me.
I'm doing everything, which I don't want to do.
Everybody is dancing, laughing and enjoying, but i am fighting with my inner self. I am forcing myself to be present here.
Tut ke daali se haathon
Pe bikhar jaati hain
Mehndi ha ha mehndi
Mehndi ka pata nahi par hum jarur bikhar rhe hai. Kal hum unse milenge aur kal sab khatam ho jayega. Hum dono ka jiwan barwad ho jayega.
(I don't know about mehandi, but i am surely falling apart. Tomorrow, I will meet her and tomorrow, everything will be over. Both of our lives will be ruined, scattered like broken pieces..)
Tut ke daali se haathon
Pe bikhar jaati hain
Yeh to mehndi hai
Mehndi to rang laati hain
Mehndi ha ha mehndi
Kal o tufan aayega to hum dono ke jivan ko puri tarah bikher dega.
( But tomorrow, a storm is coming. A storm strong enough to tear apart both our lives completely.)

Ekansh still had not given up hope that this wedding might somehow be canceled.
"Ekansh, sagun ka mehndi hai bas siya ka nam likhenge," his said hesitantly.
(Ekansh, it is Sagun's mehndi, I will just write Siya's name.")
"Yes, Ekansh it's a ritual, " his aunty said with warm smile.
The song swirled through the air.
Log baago se ise
Tod ke le aate hain
Aur patthar pe ise
Shauk se pisvaate hain
Mehndi ha ha mehndi
"I will write Siya's name on my hand myself," Ekansh replied while forcing each word.
Ok, his mother said, And both of them stood on little disance at the side.
Then Ekansh took a knife from the side table, and started to write Siya's name on his hand in anger.
Ekansh's aunty took one step towards Ekansh, but his mother stopped her by holding her hand.
"Bhabhi sa, Ekansh ko dard ho rha hoga. Aap hame rok kiyo rhi hai," his aunty asked.
(Bhabhi sa, Ekansh must be in pain. Why are you stopping me .)
Jivan me kuchh dard sahna jaruri hota hai, aaj ka ye dard use jivan phar ka khusi dega.
Hum chahte hai ki o apni hatho ki lakiro me siya ka nam yaise likhe ki sath janam tak o mit na pare.
(It is necessary to bear some pain in life, today's pain will give HIM happiness for the rest of his life.
I want him to write Siya's name into the lines of his hand in such a way that it will never be erased, not even in seven lifetimes.”)
"Ek raja ki patni aut maa ko kamjor parne ki ijajat nahi hai," his mother wishperd to herself.
(A king's wife, a mother, is not allowed to be weak.")
Phir bhi hothon se
Phir bhi hothon se iski
Uff talak na aati hain
Yeh to mehndi hai
Mehndi to rang laati hain
Mehndi ha ha mehndi
Ekansh was writing Siya’s name without hissed in pain like he was not feeling any pain.
Apne ras rang se is
Duniya ko sajana hain
Kaam mehndi ka to
Gairon ke kaam aana hain
Mehndi ha ha mehndi
"Maa sa, Chachi maa dekhiye khoon ka rang mehndi se bhi gehra hai. Hamne kardiya riwaj pura apni hone wali patni ka nam likh ke," Ekansh said with a bitter laugh.
("Maa, chachi maa, look the color of blood is darker than mehndi. I completed the ritual by writing the name of my future wife," Ekansh said with a bitter laugh.)
"Ekansh, why are you doing this beta? Look, how it's bleeding," his aunty said, holding his hand with tearful-eyes.
His mother still stood at the same place crying silently. She can feel her son's pain—not only the wound in his hand, but the storm raging in his heart. She know he is in too muchh pain, But she is doing everything just for the well-being of her son.
Apni khushboo se
Apni khushboo se yeh
Sehra ko mehkaati hai
Yeh to mehndi hai
Yeh to mehndi hai
Mehndi to rang laati hain
"Hum apne kaksh me ja rhe hai ab," Ekansh said and was about to leave by then his mother hold his hand and stopped him.
("I am going to my room ")
"I have cooked your favorite food. Eat it and go," his mother said with teary eyes.
"Maa, kiya aaj aap apne hatho se hame khilayengi," Ekansh said this simple line, but his tone holds lots of unspoken emotion and feelings, which his mother can feel.
(Maa, will you feed me with your hand today)
"Ha, hum abhi khana leke aate hai," immediately his mother replied while wiping her tear. Then Ekansh left.
("Yes, I'll bring the food right away.")
"Bhabhi sa, you go, I will handle everything here," his aunty said with smile.
Tut ke daali se haathon

At Ekansh's room
Ekansh and his mother were sitting on the floor. Ekansh and his mother were fiddling each other. Both were silent, As if words were not needed to talk.
After eating, Ekansh put his head on his mother's lap, and wishperd, "maa, hum bahut thak gaye hai hame sula dijiye", in a very painful tone, As if he is not talking about physical tiredness, as if he is saying that he is tired of life but now wants to sleep peacefully.
(Maa, I am very tired, please put me to sleep.")
"Ekansh, bistar par chal ke so jaiye," his mother said lovingly while caressing his hair.
"Nahi mahe yahi sona hai," Ekansh replied.
(No i want to sleep here)
"Jaisa aap kahe," his mother said and started caressing his hair lovingly.
After sometime, Ekansh fell asleep, and his mother was only starring at his with warm smile.
(As you say)
Other side, sitapur
All the guests have gone to their rooms after dinner, and only Siya and her entire family remained in the dining room.
"Siya, today, I cooked the food your and Devika love the most," her mother said with heavy hearted.
After hearing this, devika got too emotional, and she asked softly with teary eyes, my favorite food?"
"Yes, Devi," siya's mother replied with gentle smile.
"Aap logo ke hatho me to mehandi lagi hai to aaj hum aur baba sa aap sab ko apne hatho se khilayenge," Daksh said while Smilling.
(You all have mehendi on your hands, so today Baba and I will feed you all with our own hands.")
Siya and Devika sat beside each other. Siya’s mother sat next to Siya, while Divya sat beside Devika. Daksh was seated opposite Divya, and Siya’s father sat opposite Siya. Together, they lovingly began feeding the girls.
"Daksh, Feed them both another bite from my side too," her mother said.
"Rana sa, from my side too," Divya added.
"Siya ose aapne us Ekansh ka nam to likha hai na apni hatho me," Daksh asked.
(Siya, you have written the name of Ekansh on your hand?")
"Yes, bhai sa, But please don't talk about him like this," Siya said.
"You are already taking his side," Daksh said with a playful Pout.
"it's not like that, bhai sa," siya said while blushing.
"Ekansh loves his family very much and he will love you too very much,"Daksh said with smile.
“On the day of the Roka, I admired how he prepared his aunt for the rituals. Do you know, Siya? There was a custom that the groom’s mother was supposed to perform, but he said, ‘Chachi Maa is no less than Maa herself.’ He truly values family.” Daksh added.
("Aap ko pata hai siya, ek riwaj tha jo dulhe ke maa ko karna tha par unhone kaha ki chachi maa, maa se kam nahi hai. O pariwar ko bahut mante hai," Daksh said)
Siya listened to every word with a quiet smile.
"Bhai sa apke muh se unki tarif sun ke achha laga," siya's said with shy blush.
("Bhai sa it was nice to hear your praise for him.)
"Siya, why do you always call Ekansh Rana Sa, as 'unhe'? I have never once heard his name from you till date," Devika asked with teasing smile.
"Because, I like to say that," Siya wishper while blushing.
They continued their meal, talking and laughing together.
“Tonight, we’ll spend the whole night with our Siya. That’s why I’ve made all the arrangements in the garden. Let’s go,” Daksh announced.
He had prepared soft bedding for everyone under the open sky. Later, they all lay together in the garden, sharing old memories, laughing, crying, and cherishing every moment until late into the night.
